If your Vox Neighborhood had a potluck dinner tonight, what dish, drink or dessert would you bring?
Since there's a pie crust in my freezer, I'm thinking my infamous Jack Daniel's sweet potato pie.
Here's another book I really want to get, part biography, and design showcase from the man that created the iconic Bond film's opening title sequences.Robert Brownjohn, he studied with Moholy-Nagy at the new Bauhaus in chicago and lived in swinging London in the sixties where he lived like a Fucking Rock Star!
I stopped into a local book store seeking some ideas and found some of the most inspirational design books. Here's a quick list treat yourself good this holiday season.
Stephen Heller and Gail Anderson.
Years ago I took a class with Ms. Anderson at SVA.
Class at the Rolling Stone's office really cool.
I absolutely love this movie Time Square and was so excited I found a clip on "youtube" it needed a repost here, enjoy it and please message me if you agree that it's awesome, I moved to New York eleven years after this movie was made and saw the tail end of the Time Square era before the MOUSE bought every theater and it became a mall with out a roof.
Music-wise, what was the first 45, single or download you bought?
